Dr. Stylianos Bitharis
Msc.Geoinformatics, Phd  at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering (Dept. of Geodesy and Surveying) of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His Phd research related with GNSS data analysis with scientific software packages, geodetic velocity estimation, and their implementation in Geodetic Reference Frames. He has strong research activity with a long list of scientific papers in international journals such as: Annals of Geophysics, Marine Geodesy, IAG series. Also, he has participated in several international scientific conferences as: IUGG, IAG, EUREF. Since 2013, he is a member of GNSS_Quality_Control research team and worked on topics of Advanced GNSS tropospheric products for monitoring severe weather events and climate. Additionally, he has experience in Ionospheric variation before strong Earthquake events, exploited the GNSS permanent networks. Currently, focused on long-term ground deformation over the Greek territory, using GNSS sites and advanced time series data analysis.
